We collect personal and activity data, which may be linked.

1. User Provided Information. We collect: (a) your name, email address, and the password assigned to you by your state government employer; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases or place orders for government services on behalf of your government employer (c) your requests for help; (d) payment information, and (e) GPS information.

2. Automatically Collected Information. This is information automatically collected by the App, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID or IDFA, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the App. If you opt into push notifications, Apple provides us with a token which we use only to send you such notifications. You may disable this in the Notifications tab under iOS Settings.

3. Personal Data. Personal Data is a subset of User Provided Information and Automatically Collected Information, which includes personally identifiable information and financial information. The financial information we receive from you will only be used to process your transactions on behalf of the individual you are ordering government services for and will never be shared with any other party, except as required by law or to fulfil the transaction you are requesting.

We do not use the App to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

This policy applies only to information we collect in this app.

We collect but do not share your precise location.

Our app uses GPS data to determine your location to enable us to understand where government services are purchased. We do not provide this location information to third parties.

You can request to see and update your personal data.

Review and update your personal information by emailing us at privacy@egov.com.

You can choose to opt out of certain data collection and use practices.

You can stop all collection of your information by the App easily by uninstalling the App or by contacting us as privacy@egov.com.

We use personal information to enable citizens to purchase our products, services such as inspections and park passes.

We use your personal information to enable you to facilitate transactions where citizens purchase our products, services such as inspections and park passes.

We use your information to analyze what advertisements appeal to our users.

We may use your unique device ID to analyze which advertisements are most appealing to our users. We do not store this information. We do not associate it with your name or other personal information. If you are a California resident, you may contact us for information relating to our direct marketing practices.

We may transfer your information if we merge or sell our company.

As we continue to develop our business, we may buy or sell businesses or assets. In such transactions, confidential customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a transaction involving the sale of some or all of NIC's businesses, customer and site visitor information may be one of the transferred assets.

Service providers access data on our behalf.

We may provide your information to service providers who provide services to us. This includes companies that perform analytics as discussed above.

We may use or disclose your information for legal compliance.

We use your information to carry our legal obligations and rights, or in response to legal actions.

California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our visitors who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure the Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure including firewalls and SSL encryption for transactions. You must keep passwords confidential. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and your mobile device is not completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make any material changes to our policies, we will place a prominent notice on our website or application.
